gb is a singer-songwriter and the son of George Brown, original member of the legendary soul group Kool & The Gang. His artist name comes from the initials of his real name, Gregory Brown.

He rose to attention when his song “STRESS” went viral on TikTok. In 2021, he released the album 24/7 and the mini-album STRESS FREE, including a standout remix by Vicke Blanka. His 2022 single “Teinei na Kurashi” gained wide buzz, featuring actor Kentarō Itō in the music video.

With soulful, heartwarming messages and an organic, groovy sound, gb has earned strong support across generations, especially among Gen Z. He’s a frequent performer at summer festivals and outdoor events, and is also an accomplished producer, writing for artists such as SixTONES, Choutokkyuu (超特急), WATWING, WARPs UP, Paradox Live (VISTY), Kankaku Pierrot (感覚ピエロ), Chou Tokimeki♡Sendenbu (超ときめき♡宣伝部), and Yuma Nakayama (中山優馬).

Offstage, gb is also a passionate basketball lover.
